Despite the unpredictable and challenging times brought on by the global pandemic, we at IDS Fintech have remained committed to our mission: “To improve the world of wealth management through superior automated technology”. This year we wanted to take it a step further and have a greater impact on our community, the fintech industry and the entire world.
The year 2021 was of remarkable product development for us, accelerating our growth and expansion in the GCC market while intriguing new clients and captivating new talents to our seasoned team.
We continued working with trust and transparency with our clients, welcomed onboard Ahli Capital and Rasameel as new clients, and partnered with Softhub in Dubai.
We strengthened our end-to-end solution VESTIO by enhancing its End Customer Portal and Mobile App and by introducing the new web Multi-Market Trading, an add-on to the already existing online Multi-Market Trading tool. A new dynamic KYC module was introduced, additional integrations with the global financial market data providers were conducted, and a world-check integration through Refinitiv was fully realized.
During 2021, we also launched our fully-fledged Market Maker solution, certified by Boursa Kuwait. The Market Maker is an advanced trading platform with a real-time market data feed and a dashboard with KPI analytics that serves in boosting the liquidity of securities listed in the stock market.
We have also developed the new Margin Loan module, which enables companies to provide loans to their clients for trading against the value of the portfolio they already own - according to Kuwaiti regulations - offering an interest-bearing loan system which increases the client’s trading flexibility and enhances the company’s earning potential.
The year of 2021 was quite a journey, and looking into 2022, we aim to share even more memorable moments with you! Our projection for the year 2022, includes the integration with global trading providers, the introduction of our own multi-market feed, enhancements on VESTIO’s cloud such as pricing for several markets, benchmarks, data placement on the cloud, end of day pricing, and the adoption of KAFKA and Signal R technologies for gathering data from markets.
